Happy Birthday Sweet Pickle

15 years...doesn't it go by in a wink? Wasn't it just yesterday, when A.J. was 4 months old, and we were getting ready to go to church to get him Christened, when I found out that I was pregnant? Oh, what a day, and a shock that was! After having had some infertility problems after Bear was born, and being thrilled to have A.J. in November of '92, our mantra had become "One more in '94"...we figured we'd give it some time, and start the infertility treatments again a year or so down the road...and hope for the best. Little did we know that we'd gotten a 2 for 1 deal on the infertility treatments and we beat our "one more in 94" idea by about 2 weeks! Pickle was born 13 1/2 months after A.J.... People say twins are tough and I believe them, but try having two babies just a year apart...the older one is just enough older to teach the little one all of the "tricks"...Those first couple of years, well, let's just say they were an "adventure" to say the least.

Pickle came into this world looking like a perfect angel. And she was just that...until she got mad. That child could scream like no other I'd ever heard. My Dad used to say that if Pickle would have been our first born, she would have been an only child! Ha ha! At times I think that wasn't far from the truth.

Happy Birthday Sweet Pickle. We love you!
