A-Z Mondays - the Food Version, "E" is for Escargot

Ah, yes, escargot, aka, snails. Yup, I've eaten them and I love them! Here is a picture of the most recent garden dwellers I've munched on...
...yes, under the mound of melted butter and garlicky goodness are those little tasty fellas. Hey, don't knock it til you've tried it!

I've never tried them, and not sure I could, but they don't look too bad when all covered up in butter and garlic. HA! Happy "E" week to you! :D

I've tried them, and I like them too! Then again, smother anything in butter and garlic, and chances are it'll taste good :)
Happy Monday!

My Daddy was crazy for escargot too. Couldn't bring myself to sample them as I used to like to play with snails as a kid.

I've tried them, and while I agree that garlic and butter is good on many things, I'm afraid it didn't make me want to order them again--But for you and my husband who also likes them, I will just say "Bon Appetit!" :-)

Those look yummy, but I'm allergic to shell fish which means I'm probably allergic to escargot.

Great E food!

I've tried them too and I seem to like them more the less I think about them. And using the French word makes them sound a bit more Elegant, Enchanting, Etc.

Nick used to love snacking on escargot while on our walks. Always grossed me out, bet he would have loved hangin' out with you! :-)

Here in France they are everyday fare. Don't try to convert your friends; there'll be more left over for us!
