This is about a friend of his...Kelley Kalafatich is a world class white water rafter who doubled for Meryl Streep on class 5 rapids in "The River Wild". Two years ago she developed transverse myelitis, a debilitating condition that paralyzed her from the waist down. Nonetheless, her desire to walk again is indefatigable and her spirit inspiring. This woman is amazing.
