This morning, on our way out of town, we took a little detour and visited the St. Louis Arch.

What a spectacular monument! A real site to be seen!

The Arch is one of those structures that you want to take photos of from every angle. In that sense, being there remind me a bit of when I was at the Eiffel Tower.

The view from the top wasn't shabby either!

I've always heard that the "Mighty Mississippi" was also nicknamed the "Muddy Mississippi" - they weren't kidding!

We had lunch here- it was awesome!

How can you beat this view from you lunch table?

Before long though, it was time to hit the road once again, for our last couple of hundred miles into West Lafayette.
First-we had to get through the "Land of Lincoln"

- Posted using BlogPress from my iPad as we are cruising through Illinois, almost to the border with Indiana!
