We'll be going on a cruise to the Eastern Caribbean! Yahoo! This will be the first cruise that we've ever taken without a group of friends or the kids, or both. We are really looking forward to the time together, relaxing, and a LOT of snorkeling!
While we originally had our hearts set on a romantic getaway to Italy, it wasn't going to work out this year. Hubby getting laid off from his job back in June didn't help matters, and we were worried about spending too much time and money on a vacation like that. Hopefully he'll be back to work by then - the middle of Oct, but even if he is, he is going to negotiate this time off into the deal.
It's a vacation we are both looking very much forward to and are both in need of. It's been a pretty stressful time in our lives, and that's putting it pretty mildly!
More details will come as the time gets closer, but suffice to say that I am in need of a good base tan, and losing about 50 lbs.!! I can do that in 40-ish days, right? Ha!
