I was, shall we say, out of commission for a couple of days. It's a bit complicated, to be sure. I started feeling rotten on Friday night, was able to make it through the night without going to urgent care, but gave in early Saturday morning and preceded to spend all day Saturday in urgent care getting different tests, poked, prodded, etc. Not a fun way to spend the day. Anyway, after being diagnosed with diverticulitis, and a burst ovarian cyst (oh yeah, double whammy Baby!) I was sent home with 2 different antibiotics, and pain medications.
I'm starting to feel better, thank goodness, but still feel like I've been stabbed in the gut. Nice. Nothing like an all day stay in urgent care, and a blown weekend to get you into the holiday spirit!

Geez Sue, I was hospitalised a couple of days ago due to a huge pain in my stomach. I hope you are feeling better. I think your threshold of pain is better than mine. I was curling up like a worm and there you are, smiling brightly!

Oh my goodness you poor gal!! I know that pain (not the ov.cyst, but diverticulitis) and do NOT envy you one bit. So sorry you had to go through it especially at this time of year. Maybe it was God's way of telling you to slow down?! Rest and get well friend. Hope you're all better for Christmas.x-c
Holy crap! THAT was a shocker! I hadn't been to your blog in a few days, and....whammy! So glad you are ok, though. The pain must be unbearable - poor thing!!! How on earth can you look so good in a hospital gown???? Amazing!
