The Big Mouth and the Pooped Pooches

I had some errands to run today, and the result was that I had to leave the dogs unattended for most of the morning. No worries though, they did as they usually do, and snoozed the morning away waiting for me. When I got home though, I had plenty of work to catch up on, but they would hear nothing of it. I tried to sit at my computer for a bit, but the elbow nudging was constant, and I gave in, and took them to the park. They deserved a good romp around in the fresh air, and certainly enjoyed the outing.

Jill is getting quite the reputation as the gate greeter, also known as the "Big Mouth" of the park. She feels the need to announce all new comers to the park, in addition to all cars driving by, all people walking by, all birds flying by, and all leaves falling off the trees...if there is movement in the park, she is barking about it. Sheesh, she is mouthy! Cute as the dickens, but barky!

For example, Kona and Harley were rough-housing and having a good old time, minding their own business, and she has to get in the middle of things, bark, bark, bark, and what? Is someone coming into the park? Off she goes! She is a kooky old gal...

They all thoroughly enjoyed the time at the park, chasing the ball, chasing each other, smelling lots of good (and bad) smells, and doing all of the great things that dogs do. They even looked happy being there.

Of course one of the best things about taking them to the park, is how pooped out they are when we get home.
Ah, peace and quiet at last.
