This past Saturday Harley and I enjoyed a Hornblower Cruise with some of our Golden friends. This is an annual event that benefits a local animal shelter. This was the first time the event was held on a Saturday, and we were worried that it was going to be super crowded, but to our surprise, it wasn't as bad as we thought it might be. We had about 35 members of our Golden Group show up, and it was a great little adventure.
Before the cruise, Harley and I walked around the harbor area a little bit, and enjoyed some of the statues and other sites.
This was the ship we went on.
We were both excited to have a little one-on-one time, and enjoy the day together.

What a great event! All those dogs are absolutely beautiful.
You think Kona looks like Simba, boy your in for a treat when you see Simba's dad! We got Simba at Knights Golden Retrievers in Simi Valley. It was a drive, but it was well worth it.
What a great, fun day! Can any dog go on that or was it just for the goldens meet up?? I wish we lived closer!!!!!!!
