Jill had has a rather nasty hot-spot for the better party of two weeks now. Just when it looks like it is starting to heal nicely, I'll find her scratching at it, or worse...she'll stick her face right in Jack's face, and she gets him to lick it for her. EWWW! Its constantly wet, and nasty, and downright gross.
We've tried putting a sock on her back foot so she can't scratch at it, but that doesn't stop Jack from "cleaning" it for her. The cone does.She absolutely hates the cone, but it does make a huge difference. Hopefully it will help her hot spot heal quickly and she'll be able to do more than just stand around and watch TV!

One of our seniors that we used to have always "cleaned" the hot spots for our crew too--It would drive me crazy!! I have found what helps to dry them out before they get "gi-normous" and you may know this is just patting plain ole cornstarch with a benedryl chaser...Hope it feels better soon!! They are NO fun!!!
Awwww... you poor dear, Jill. Well, the cone should help heal up that nasty hot spot in no time. Love the way you watch TV!

OOOO poor Jill... Teddy can feel her pain and sends her loves. He hates the cone too... and luckily he hasn't had a hot spot for months now! Thanks to steroids.
