We've been working pretty much everyday on this Halloween Party. This weekend was spent painting, designing, brainstorming, and having fun. A little drizzle on Saturday didn't dampen our spirits, no pun intended, and we got a lot accomplished. Only 2 weekends left to get everything ready...I don't know where the time is going!
Here is a little look at our newest creation...I bet you can pretty much figure out the theme of the party now, can't you?

You Americans really get into your 'halloween' thing eh? It is just starting to make a tiny impact here... a few people do celebrate it now... we as a family don't. I simply don't get it.... nor Thanksgiving... don't do that one either. No one here does.
Based on what I've seen so far, your party will be the best I've ever seen. VERY impressed!
Ooo, ooo, ooo...can I be Brad Pitt?
Chris H. - Yes, I guess there are some of us that really get into it. Basically I use it as an excuse to have a big costume party with about 80 to 100 friends where we all get dressed as something silly, eat and drink a lot, and let our hair down for a change. I host an adult party because I feel like so much of what I do in my "normal" life is dedicated to my children. Christmas, in our house, is all about the kids, so is Easter, etc. I think its just a blast to get all my adult friends together to party big once a year. Other than going to a club where you'd have to pay to attend a party like this, I don't know of anyone else that does a party like ours...Every year its a different theme, the house is decorated to the hilts, and people just seem to have a great time.
Chris & Mac.- You ain't seen nuthin yet! We've got all kinds of "scenes" that we are working on for different areas of the house...Hey if you can make it up here on the 25th, you are invited!
Bogart - Of course you can be Brad Pitt...Dang, I wish your trip out here would have been this month instead of last month...
