Padres
I'm thinking of Bogart this morning (a real Padre fan) as I post a couple of these pictures from a recent Padre game. Our friends, K & S from Dugan's Barkery, gave Hubby some awesome tickets to a game for his birthday not long ago, and I don't think we've ever had better seats while in Petco Park. It was a blast! The game could have been better (what's new?...it is the Padres, after all) but, hey, there is always next year!

Great pics of Brian Giles. A few years ago my husband took our younger son to see the Padres during Spring Training for his birhtday. Brian Giles autographed a ball for him, he was so excited and told him "This is my best birthday ever!" Brian gave him his batting gloves. He was laughing as he walked away, my son still yelling his thank yous after him with tears in his eyes. A few minutes later Ryan Klesko came over and gave my son his bat. To this day, those are his two favorite players and that kid is a die hard Padres fan.
Oh how I miss my Padres...they are 3 hours away from me this weekend and I CAN'T GO.
Sad...pouting...upset...
But at least I can watch them while I eat dinner this weekend as opposed to when they are home and I can only stay awake for the first 3 or 4 innings...
