I think our friends over at "Gecko" were a little optimistic when they told us that the car was in "really good shape" when they recovered it from the impound lot in Rosarito..."It only needs a battery and the stereo is gone..." Well, the total on the repair bill was $4,387.86... Yeah, just a wee bit more than a battery and stereo. Thank heavens for insurance though...we only had to pay a small deductible, and we will replace the stereo on our own. We can't knock that! Here are a couple of "before and after" pictures...I hope I get them lined up correctly...

It's BACK!
After exactly 60 days, we have the car back! I have to say that I have been very sceptical about getting it back. I give a great big thank you to Randy and his folks over and Sports & Classics. They were friendly and fast, and did a fantastic job on the car. It looks nearly brand new. The paint looks perfect, the interior is clean and fresh, and Bear is tickled pink, as we all are.
