Valerie and I ventured to the Coronado dog beach today with the pups. It's been unusually hot here again (in the high 90's!) and it was the perfect day for a beach get away. We met up with a friend of mine, Sharon, and her pups, and needless to say, we all enjoyed the cool water and breeze. Sharon's pups had never been to the beach before, and it was a blast watching them enjoy themselves!

That looks SOOO refreshing! What part of Coronado is the dog beach? We want to take our pack, but aren't sure how to get there.

K & S - the dog beach is on the far northern end of Coronado Beach, right next to the Naval Air Station Golf course. It's really easy to find, if you get to the beach, (on Ocean Blvd.) drive all the way north (to the right) until the street ends. You'll see the signs for the beach. I think it's the best dog beach in S.D.
