This past Friday Kona completed his 10 hours of supervised therapy visits. The paper work has been sent in, and within the next couple of weeks he should receive his official "Love on a Leash" ID card and vest, to show that he is a certified therapy dog. I am a very proud Momma, to say the least! He is such a good boy, just going with the flow, welcoming all of the different hands that reach out to stroke him, rub his ears, and just give him a hardy pat on the back. I think this is his niche.
Here is the photo I sent in for his ID card. To me he just looks old and wise, way beyond his (not quite) 2 years! Such an old soul for a young pup.

Love Kona's ID pic! And what a job you've done - I'd love to go through all the training for Sammie to be a therapy dog, but getting through basic novice Obed. is proving to be quite a test for both of us heheheeee! Congrats and great job!
Hugs xo

Congrats to Kona!! Good work! Our Mommy (Cassie) would love for us to become therapy dogs but she is afraid we are way to nutsy. Especially Hootie.
