On the Go

Kona and I have been VERY busy lately with our therapy visits. Last week we did 4 visits and this week will be the same.  Most facilities don't allow pictures, but every once in a while we are able to take some, and of course those are always fun to share.

Talk about a once in a lifetime event! How cool it must have been for these girls to see this in person - and so lucky to have a camera with a video option handy. ...and people as me why I never leave home without a camera. It's for times like this, or for when Brad Pitt shows up unexpectedly...hey, a girl can dream, can't she?

So Much for Catching Up!

Where'd the weekend go? It's after 9pm on Sunday evening....wasn't it just Friday afternoon? Sheesh! Talk about time flying!  It was, to say the least, a very, very busy weekend. I'm being summoned to sit in front of the TV and catch up on a TV show with the family, so I can't putter here long, so I'll just share this one picture for now. We had a little get together with a few of our Golden friends at the beach today.

It. Was. AWESOME!

Dog Gone Tired!

It's been a very busy couple of days for me, with several therapy visits, a visit from a dear friend, a couple of business meetings, and some other stuff going on.  I'll catch up more tomorrow and post some cute pictures from my visits, but for tonight I'll share this one of the pups I was supervising at the VA today.

This was taken after they'd finished being extremely well behaved in the hospice unit, and bringing lots of smiles and love to the folks they visited.  To say they were all tired is an understatement!

...and this, my dear dog loving friends, is why we should be ever so careful when and if we ever allow our fur-babies off leash out of the safety of a controlled environment.

The Name Game

As I mentioned yesterday, when we were out and about on Mother's Day, we played a game.  We had to take pictures of objects that looked like the letters in our first names.  Here are 3 of the names in our family. Can you figure them out?

The only thing that we weren't "allowed" to use for our letters were actual printed letters. I thought it was a lot of fun, and certainly more challenging than it sounds.  I also thought it was fun to see how we each (at least the first 3 of us) chose to crop the pictures and adjust the colors, etc. It made a day of random picture taking really fun!
