La Jolla Shores

I spent a little time this evening with some of my friends in the Pacific Photographic Society, a photography meetup I belong to. I always have a great time with this group, and always learn a little something.

I took just over 300 pictures this evening in a matter of about 2 hours. These are a few of my favorites....so far. I haven't really had too much time to look through them all as much as I'd like to.

To photo shop, or not to photo shop, that is the question...

Which version of this family portrait do you like better? The first version is raw...on the second one I tried to photo shop the hands out. Was it worth it?

Puppy Palooza!

Bear and I visited with 11 gorgeous 5 week old Golden puppies yesterday! Can you say "Heavenly?"

There is no better way to put a smile on my face than to spend a couple of hours with a litter of beautiful, healthy, happy Golden babies! It made my day!

We tried to get a group picture..."tried" is the key word here.

This was as good as I could get with only 3 of us.

Bear fell in love as much as I did!

The Saddest Kind of Anniversary

Our hearts are heavy today as we are thinking of our dear friends Robert and Harry. It was one year ago today that they lost the love of their lives, Dena. Please take a moment if you would, to stop by and say hello to them at The Adventures of Harry. If you have some time, read through their blog, it will help you understand the meaning of true, everlasting love.

One can only ever hope to be loved as deeply as Dena was, and continues to be.
