A Fun Fourth and Fifth!

The weekend turned out to be a really great one! It was relaxing and fun - full of friends in the backyard, food, games, cards, dogs, fireworks, swimming, sunshine - you name it! We didn't have any "formal" activities to take part in this weekend, no Meetups, no parades, etc., and it was really nice for a change. Not that I don't thoroughly enjoy all of those things, but sometimes it's just so nice to be on your own schedule. That's how this weekend was...it was pretty near perfect. Here are just a couple of the tons of pictures I took...

Patriotic marinaded shrimp kabobs - one word - YUM! (Thanks Shirley!!)
Bear showing her patriotic flair
Pops schooling Barb in cribbage!
Yours truly grabbing a couple of those shrimp kabobs...
The pool was in prime shape.
Girls against boys in pool volley ball - we dominated - which had nothing to do with the fact the we way outnumbered the boys...
An awesome ice cream sundae bar for dessert - thanks Leanna!
The kids (and Ed) are ready for the fireworks.
It was a very nice show...
The pups got a chance for some pool fun on Sunday.
Harley is a happy girl
Queen Gigi (Jill) loves cruising around on her raft.
Kona and Harley play ball.
Big thanks to all of my family and friends that made the weekend so fun! I appreciate you all bringing something to share, taking alot of the stress off my shoulders.
