Halloween 2012 - The Guests, part 1

Finally, on to the guests! With the Circus/CarnEvil theme we knew we'd have some creative costumes at the party this year, and we weren't disappointed!

Of course every circus needs a ring master or two, so that's what hubby and I dressed as.

We were not the only ring masters that attended the party...and that's OK, it was a 3 ring circus after all, and there was plenty of room for all of us!

I've been requested to keep a few of them off of my blog and off of FB. I will, of course, respect those requests. If you are one of those peeps, and you know I have your picture and you want what I have, please just send me an email, and I will tell you where you can send a blank check...

Here is the last batch of the decoration pictures - at least until I discover that I've forgotten something!

Election Day, FINALLY!

I am so glad that today is FINALLY election day. Now maybe my phone will stop ringing and my mailbox will stop being flooded with political garbage best only to be used for lining the bottom of bird cages. (By the way, I do not have a bird, thankyouverymuch.)

I keep my political view to myself, that's just how I am, but suffice to say, I am very glad that today is finally here.

I voted.

I haven't...

...fallen off the face of the earth, or been put away with all of the Halloween decorations. I've just had other stuff going on that I've needed to take care of.  You know how it goes, right?

I received two discs with more party pictures on them today. I will post more pictures tomorrow, and that, my friends, is a promise. I have a few more decoration pictures I want to post and then it's on to the guest pictures.

Hang in there with me. It's been....well....a little busy.

Halloween 2012 - The Decorations part 3

OK - I didn't get around to posting more yesterday as promised...so shoot me.

Here is a wrap up of the interior and the first batch of the outdoor decorations. I will try to post more later, but no promises this time - you'll just have to check back later today.

Even the kitchen cabinets got into the act.(Please ignore the disaster on the counters...this was taken a day before the party!)

 The hallway featured several "floating" heads, thanks to my friend Shirley. I give her an idea, and she makes it bigger and better than I could hope for.

 And now we head outside, via a vortex tunnel.
